The public works team of Laguna Vista is a dedicated group of individuals who help maintain and keep Laguna Vista operating and beautiful. Below are just some of the responsibilities of this department:

Local street repair and maintenance

City Parks maintenance

• Grass/flowers/trimming etc.
• Irrigation systems
• Lighting

Mowing and maintaining alleyways

Janitorial duties at public restrooms and city buildings

Building maintenance at City Hall, Police Department, Library and Fire Department

Assist with Vector Control at the direction of our Licensed Vector Control Officer Duvie Alcozer.

Event set-up and tear down

Town banners and holiday decorations
